Our company operates in the fast-paced world of data centers. We have technical expertise with the quality and commissioning processes including inspections, examinations, verification techniques, functional performance testing, critical power equipment, and operations & maintenance know how. DOD SkillBridge participants will first dive into a thorough electrical and mechanical systems training and testing program where their backgrounds will be reinforced with industry safety protocols, OSHA-10, NFPA-70E, and Red Cross certifications, our IT systems, data center electrical and mechanical systems, and our processes. Then you will head to the field for on the job training in commissioning for multiple weeks before being tested on your ability to perform independently. Once cleared by our industry-leading trainers, you'll be considered an authority in the field and will inspect and commission mission critical systems in the data center environment. Roles & job description

COMMISSIONING ENGINEER has a technical background and in-depth expertise with the commissioning process including verification techniques, functional performance testing, critical power equipment and O&M knowledge. The role of the Commissioning Engineer is to act as a third-party authority systematically verifying that electrical nd mechanical systems are functioning in accordance with the design intent and Owner's Project Requirements (OPR). Some of the actions of the Engineer will include verification and testing during all 5 levels of commissioning, as per ASHRAE Guideline 0. RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with bid and proposal development, Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with Clients / Engineers of Record / GC's / Subs / Vendors, Understand and effectively communicate the Cx process in meetings as needed, Develop Cx procedures with use of a template, customizing based on drawings and SOO, Assist PM with Cx Schedule development, Assist in the development of TAB Verification plan, Conduct TAB

Eligibility notes

General understanding of Mechanical and/or Electrical systems, Must have a dedicated home office that is conducive to daily responsibilities, Must be able to move about the work area (including ladder usage) and travel to worksites as needed or required, Must be able to carry inspection and test equipment from 30-50 pounds, Must be able to frequently perform physical activity including but not limited to: standing for eight hours at a time, moving in rugged or unstable conditions, working in adverse weather, handling or feeling objects, tools or controls which may not be visible, reach overhead, Must be able to wear personal protective equipment: hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety gloves, and safety shoes, Must report to work on time, Must follow company and site rules and regulations, Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, equipment and site drawings, specifications, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, Perform and record results for inspections, examin
