Atlassian Systems Engineer
Participant will gain skills in how to Administer, configure, and support Jira and Confluence, analyze and optimize Jira workflows, schemes, custom fields, permissions, and Confluence spaces, structure, and access controls, support the planning and execution of migration activities from Data Center to Cloud, perform data analysis, cleanup, and preparation to enable a smooth migration, work directly with underlying data structures to troubleshoot issues and ensure data integrity, use APIs, SQL queries, and scripts to extract, transform, and validate data, assist with migration tooling, testing, and validation efforts, investigate and resolve system issues, including performance bottlenecks and data inconsistencies, support integrations between Jira/Confluence and other systems, evaluate and manage Marketplace apps and configurations, including Cloud readiness, and provide post-migration support and stabilization
We are seeking a hands-on Atlassian Systems Engineer with strong experience in Jira, Confluence, and underlying data systems to support and optimize our Atlassian environment.The primary goal of this role is to help drive and execute our transition from Jira and Confluence Data Center to Atlassian Cloud. While prior migration experience is not required, the ideal candidate is highly technical, comfortable working with data, and capable of navigating complex systems to support a successful migration.This is a delivery-focused role for someone who can work directly within systems, troubleshoot issues, and improve performance, structure, and data quality.
