Trainees who successfully pass the WRT exam at the end of the program will receive their Water Restoration Technician (WRT) IICRC certification. The global gold-standard in water mitigation certifications, a WRT certification allows an employee to be competitive at any Restoration company in the US. The estimated starting pay for an applicant with 3 months of experience and a WRT certification is 25-40% higher than without.
The specialist technician is responsible for providing efficient and effective restoration services to homes and businesses affected by water damage or mold issues. This role involves assessing damage, performing extraction and demolition, setting up and monitoring drying equipment, estimating jobs, basic project management, and remediating water damage to ensure a safe and habitable environment.
