The HKPO Veterans Academy SkillBridge Program provides transitioning service members with a full-time, remote SkillBridge opportunity focused on professional development, mentorship, Lean Six Sigma, project management, leadership, networking, and career transition support.Participants may follow a 60-day Green Belt pathway or a 90-day advanced pathway based on command-approved SkillBridge dates, career goals, eligibility, project complexity, and program availability. The 60-day pathway is best suited for participants seeking Lean Six Sigma Green Belt training and a focused improvement project. The 90-day pathway is best suited for participants seeking advanced Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt preparation, project management development, leadership development, and expanded project work.The program helps service members translate military leadership, operational experience, problem-solving skills, and project experience into civilian career pathways. Participants may receive support in process improvement, project planning, business operations, logistics, leadership, resume development, LinkedIn optimization, and transition readiness.Applicants should complete the HKPO Veterans Academy application, submit a current resume, confirm command approval for requested SkillBridge dates, and coordinate with HKPO for current program availability, required documents, training pathway selection, and onboarding guidance.

The HKPO Veterans Academy SkillBridge Program is a full-time, remote Department of War SkillBridge opportunity designed for transitioning service members seeking professional development, mentorship, training, certifications, networking, and project-based experience in Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, Leadership, business operations, logistics, process improvement, and career readiness.The program operates under a maximum 180-day SkillBridge training window and uses concurrent individualized pathways. Participants do not all move through the same certification level at the same time. Participants may complete one or more approved pathway activities during their SkillBridge period, but pathways run concurrently rather than sequentially. For example, one trainee may be completing Lean Practitioner coursework while another is completing Green Belt tollgates, Black Belt statistical tools, PMP preparation, leadership development, or individualized career transition support.For participants authorized for the full 180-day SkillBridge period, remaining time after completion of their assigned certification pathway may be used for continued professional development and transition support. This may include Project Management Professional preparation when eligible, resume and LinkedIn optimization, interview preparation, networking, job search support, mentorship, career coaching, professional development activities, and individualized career transition planning.Final pathway assignment and completion requirements depend on the participant’s approved SkillBridge dates, program length, eligibility, certification requirements, project progress, and HKPO Veterans Academy guidance. The 60-day Lean Practitioner, 90-day Green Belt, and 120-day Black Belt pathways provide structured certification timelines, while the remaining authorized SkillBridge time may be used to strengthen the participant’s civilian career readiness and employment transition.

Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.

Applicants must be eligible for Department of War SkillBridge participation and able to obtain approval from their parent command for the requested SkillBridge dates. Participants must be able to participate in a full-time remote training program, maintain reliable internet access for live video calls and online training, complete the HKPO Veterans Academy application, submit a current resume, and coordinate with HKPO to confirm their assigned training pathway. Training pathways may include Lean Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP preparation when eligible, leadership development, professional development, and individualized career transition support. Final pathway assignment depends on approved SkillBridge dates, eligibility, program length, certification goals, and HKPO onboarding guidance.

This is a full-time remote SkillBridge training opportunity. There is no direct cost to the service member to participate. Participants remain responsible for obtaining parent command approval and meeting all applicable SkillBridge requirements before beginning the program. HKPO Veterans Academy provides online training, mentorship, group coaching, project support, professional development, and career transition support through concurrent individualized pathways. Participants may complete Lean Practitioner, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, PMP preparation when eligible, leadership development, or individualized career pathway activities based on approved SkillBridge dates, program length, eligibility, and HKPO onboarding guidance. Training pathways run concurrently rather than sequentially, and not all participants complete every pathway.
