The High Ground Military Transition Fellowship – Marketing Operations is a 120-day Department of Defense SkillBridge program designed to prepare transitioning Service Members for successful civilian careers in digital marketing, marketing operations, eCommerce, analytics, and business systems.Participants receive structured instruction, executive mentorship, industry-recognized software certifications, and supervised hands-on experience supporting the marketing operations of a rapidly growing veteran-owned consumer packaged goods company. Throughout the program, fellows learn how modern businesses acquire customers, analyze performance, automate marketing systems, optimize customer experiences, and use data to drive business decisions.Training combines online instruction with real-world operational experience using industry-leading platforms including Shopify, Klaviyo, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Odoo ERP, Asana, Microsoft Excel, and artificial intelligence (AI) productivity tools. Participants complete progressively challenging projects while working alongside High Ground's executive leadership team to support active marketing initiatives, product launches, customer acquisition campaigns, lifecycle marketing, and executive reporting.The program emphasizes technical proficiency, analytical thinking, problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership development while preparing participants to transition into careers in Marketing Operations, Digital Marketing, Marketing Analytics, Revenue Operations, eCommerce Operations, or Growth Marketing.High-performing fellows may be considered for full-time employment opportunities following successful completion of the fellowship and military separation, based on company needs and position availability.

This fellowship is designed as a primarily remote training opportunity, with approximately 95% of instruction, mentorship, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) conducted remotely. Limited in-person activities (approximately 5%) may include team-building events, leadership meetings, company lunches, manufacturing and operations practicals, product launch activities, and other hands-on learning experiences at High Ground facilities or partner locations. In-person activities are scheduled in advance whenever possible and are intended to enhance the overall learning experience rather than serve as a daily work requirement.
