This program offers immersive training in all aspects of professional upland game bird hunting guide services, including client relation, field safety, land and habitat management, and business operation. Participants will work alongside experienced guides to develop the skills necessary to plan, coordinate, and lead successful upland bird hunts in a safe, ethical, and customer focused environment.
An upland game bird hunting guide leads clients on guided hunts for species such as quail, pheasant and chukar, ensuring a safe, ethical, and successful experience. Responsibilities include scouting and managing hunting areas, handling and working with bird dogs, maintaining firearms and equipment safety, and providing instruction to hunters of varying skill levels. Guides also deliver strong customer service, manage field logistics and uphold all wildlife regulation while creating a professional and enjoyable outdoor experience.
