Overview:Seeking an aspiring Operations Research Analyst to learn AFSIM to perform analysis of US military planning activities.Requirements:Bachelor's degree from an accredited universityU. S. Citizenship with the ability to secure a Secret clearanceThe ability to apply critical thinking and formal analytical techniques to produce credible, difference-making analysesPreferred:Bachelor's or advanced degree in a STEM disciplinePrior military experience at the theater or joint task force level conducting planning or performing operational assessments; experience with developing R scripts for pre-processing, post-processing, data analytics and data visualizationTraining Outcomes:Participants who successfully complete this program will be fully qualified AFSIM analysts with the ability to convert design concepts into executable code for model development, and then to perform analysis with the resulting model to provide relevant and accurate information to guide the decision-making process of senior military personnel.
Participants will learn to use AFSIM by completing specific training modules.
