Gratton Electric out of Larimore, ND is searching for a reliable full-time electrician apprentice to join our team. The electrician apprentice’s responsibilities include completing all tasks assigned by the master electrician, which may include assisting with installations, troubleshooting, repairs, and calibrations of electrical systems and equipment within an hour radius of Larimore, ND. You should be eager to learn and able to follow instructions.To be successful as an electrician apprentice, you should demonstrate good time management and customer service skills. Outstanding candidates are highly analytical, observant, and have sound knowledge of safety protocols.Electrician Apprentice Responsibilities:• Learning from the master electrician and completing all assigned duties.• Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults.• Traveling out to various public and private spaces to assist the master electrician.• Interpreting blueprints and schematics.• Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties.• Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner• Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members.• Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit, using measuring instruments and hand tools• Maintain tools, vehicles and equipment and keep parts and supplies in order• Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems• Follow safety codes and building regulations• Prepare and clean work areas• Carry and deliver materials• Maintaining a timecard• Working irregular hours and overtime when required.Electrician Apprentice Requirements:• A relevant license and certification.• Practical experience working with electrical systems and equipment.• Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.• A willingness to learn and work overtime when required.• Ability to handle criticism appropriately.• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation• Ability to use power tools • Operates manlift, bucket truck, and all associated electrical maintenance equipment in a safe and respectful wayApprentice Benefits:• Competitive compensation• Health insurance option available after a waiting period• Flexible paid time off and paid holidays• 401(K) with company match option available after a yearContact Darin Gratton, Gratton Electric 701-317-2321 or d21gratton@yahoo.com for more information.
