Grand Canyon Scenic Airlines GCSA - Apprenticeship
This 26-week SkillBridge training program provides transitioning service members with supervised Hands-on training in aircraft maintenance. Participants will develop practical skills in aircraft systems inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, technical documentation, safety, regulatory compliance, and line and hangar maintenance. Training will primarily take place in Boulder City, Nevada, with training at the Grand Canyon, Arizona location as operationally needed.
Train alongside certified maintenance staff, performing maintenance inspections, servicing, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation per FAA and company standards. Training occurs in Boulder City, Nevada with additional training at Grand Canyon, Arizona, as operationally needed.
Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
Current or prior military aircraft maintenance experience required. Candidate should have hands-on aircraft maintenance duties and must meet all DOD SkillBridge eligibility and command approval. Preference given to candidates whose military experience qualifies them or is expected to qualify them for FAA A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) certification. Participants are expected to pursue an A&P certification during the program. Continued employment after successful completion of the Skillbridge program may be available, with advancement to an A&P mechanic position contingent on obtaining the FAA A&P certification.
