Tint / Vinyl Wrap / Paint Protection Film (PPF) Installation Internship
This SkillBridge opportunity provides transitioning service members with hands-on training in the automotive aftermarket industry, specializing in window tint, vehicle wraps, and paint protection film (PPF) installation. Participants will gain real-world experience in a professional commercial shop environment, learning industry-standard techniques, material handling, surface preparation, installation methods, and quality control. The program emphasizes technical skill development, attention to detail, customer service, and workflow efficiency while exposing participants to daily shop operations and business practices. Upon completion, participants will be well-prepared for immediate employment as entry-level to intermediate installers or technicians within the automotive customization and protective services industry.
The Automotive Film Installation Trainee will participate in a hands-on SkillBridge training program focused on window tint, vehicle wraps, and paint protection film (PPF) installation. This role is designed to train transitioning service members in industry-standard automotive customization and protective film techniques within a professional shop environment.Participants will learn proper surface preparation, material handling, cutting and trimming techniques, installation procedures, heat application, and post-install quality control. The trainee will also be exposed to shop workflow, customer service practices, safety procedures, and basic business operations related to the automotive aftermarket industry.This position emphasizes technical skill development, attention to detail, time management, and professionalism. Under supervision, the trainee will progressively assist with and perform installations while receiving ongoing feedback and mentorship. Upon successful completion of the program, participants will be prepared for entry-level employment as an automotive film installer or technician.
Need to wear non slip shoes while working on site, and be ready to learn.
