The Maintenance & Grounds Technician Training Program is designed to provide new hires with the foundational skills, safety knowledge, and professional standards necessary to successfully maintain residential rental properties. This structured two-week onboarding program combines, hands-on field training, and supervised work order experience to prepare employees for daily maintenance and groundskeeping responsibilities.The program focuses on workplace safety, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, drywall and general maintenance, groundskeeping practices, preventative maintenance procedures, and professional tenant interaction. Trainees will learn how to safely use tools and equipment, complete routine service requests, identify property issues, and communicate professionally with residents and staff.By the end of the training period, technicians are expected to complete common maintenance tasks with minimal supervision, maintain company property standards, and contribute to efficient property operations through quality workmanship and preventative care.

Esh Custom Homes is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance & Grounds Technician to assist with the upkeep and maintenance of residential rental properties. This position is responsible for completing maintenance requests, supporting apartment turnovers, maintaining exterior grounds, and ensuring properties remain safe, clean, and well-maintained.The ideal candidate should have basic maintenance knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently while maintaining professional communication with tenants and staff.
