Gain total exposure to nonprofit animal shelter operations. Learn to provide full care for cats and dogs with regular and special needs. Manage essential front desk administrative tasks. Help with community outreach, fundraising, and special events.
Any position in a boarding facility, animal shelter/rescue, and some positions in a veterinary clinic.
Must love animals and be comfortable around dogs of all breeds and sizes. Ability to multi-task Positive outlook and joyful attitude, promoting a cooperative team environment, both within the organization and among other collaborating facilities. Self-starter and able to take the initiative to ask questions or complete a task
Lodging is not provided. Member is expected to secure lodging within a 30-45 minute commute of Edgewater, FL.
