Apply your technical training and experience in a hands-on apprenticeship with eBay’s engineering and product teams. This program is designed for service members with prior education or certifications in technology fields who are ready to contribute immediately.Note: This is not a beginner program. Applicants should already have technical foundations and career-aligned training. The Honor Role Technical Apprenticeship offers transitioning service members the opportunity to apply their technical knowledge in a high-impact, real-world environment. Participants will engage with eBay’s global technology organization, contributing to live projects that drive platform innovation and customer experience.This is an advanced apprenticeship meant for individuals who have already invested in developing their technical skill sets through education, certification, or early professional experience. It provides a bridge between military expertise and eBay’s fast-paced product and engineering ecosystem.Responsibilities:Support engineering and product teams on real-time business initiatives.Collaborate within agile teams to develop, test, and deliver scalable solutions.Contribute to data analysis, automation, or product development depending on specialization.Apply problem-solving and leadership skills to improve technical processes and outcomes.Qualifications:Education or certification in computer science, data science, engineering, or product management.Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.) or analytical tools (SQL, R, Power BI).Understanding of agile methodologies and collaborative development environments.Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to learn quickly.Program Details:Duration: 90–180 days (SkillBridge)Location: Remote or Hybrid (varies by team)Full-time participation required during the program window.Note: This position is not entry-level. It is not an IT support or cybersecurity apprenticeship. Applicants must demonstrate prior training or professional readiness for technical project work.
