Program summary

The Software Engineering and Data Science intern will be trained on and gain familiarity with Duality Systems products, processes, and codebases over the course of the internship with the goal of eventually leading the implementation of a new feature from idea refinement, through deployment, to production.

Roles & job description

The Software Engineering and Data Science intern will contribute meaningfully to core systems, from design through implementation and maintain ownership throughout development into production. They will ensure code is well structured, tested, documented, and easy to maintain. In addition, they will have opportunities to communicate with end users to understand problems and requests as well as with company leadership to propose solutions and identify risks/tradeoffs.

Eligibility notes

Past experience or training in two or more software coding languages, such as JavaScript or Python.
