DFC Manufacturing Group Skilled Trades Training Program
DFC Manufacturing Group is proud to offer Department of Defense SkillBridge opportunities for transitioning Service Members interested in launching careers in manufacturing and skilled trades.Participants receive structured, hands-on training alongside experienced manufacturing professionals while remaining on active duty and continuing to receive military pay and benefits from the Department of Defense.Training opportunities may include die making, fabrication, assembly, machine operation, production support, and other advanced manufacturing career paths depending on the selected facility and business needs.Our objective is to help Service Members successfully translate military experience into long-term civilian manufacturing careers while developing valuable technical skills in a safe, team-oriented environment.
Participants will complete a structured manufacturing training program designed to develop the knowledge, technical skills, and professional experience necessary for long-term success in advanced manufacturing.Training may include:• Manufacturing safety and OSHA best practices• Blueprint and technical drawing interpretation• Machine operation and production processes• Fabrication and assembly techniques• Die making fundamentals• Tooling and equipment operation• Quality control and inspection methods• Lean manufacturing principles• Material handling and inventory management• Preventive maintenance practices• Continuous improvement initiativesParticipants will progress through a structured learning plan with increasing responsibility under the guidance of experienced mentors. Training is competency-based and focuses on developing technical ability, safety awareness, teamwork, problem solving, and manufacturing best practices.

Participants receive structured mentorship, competency-based evaluations, and exposure to multiple manufacturing disciplines with the potential for long-term employment upon successful completion of the program.
