Program summary

The VA Law Enforcement Training Center (VA LETC) is anticipating a significant expansion which will require hiring additional1801 series Law Enforcement Specialists (Instructors) at the GS-7/9/11 pay grade. These positions will be in support of the Department of the Air Force Law Enforcement Academy, so the VA LETC would benefit from the opportunity to hire from a pool of candidates who have Air Force Security Forces experience and instructional skills.

Roles & job description

Law Enforcement instructor for Department of the Air Force Law Enforcement Academy hosted by the VA LETC. As an instructor, presents formal classroom instruction using approved instructional material and visual aids. Presents practical application demonstrations and runs practical application laboratories. SkillBridge Program involved in-service training, auditing, and presenting of up to 400 hours of classroom/lab instruction.
