Roles & job description

The intern serves in a Project Coordinator training role and conducts a comprehensive inventory of SCDVA-owned assets across seven facilities and one cemetery. Duties include physically identifying and documenting major MEP, life safety, emergency power, and kitchen equipment; recording manufacturer, model number, serial number, installation date or best available estimate, and location; reconciling field findings to maintenance and inspection records; updating the department’s asset log; and producing authoritative asset data to support facility assessment updates, replacement forecasting, budgeting, audit readiness, and future OSE-governed project planning and procurement support.
