General Attorney - Internship
An attorney for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) works in the Office of the Principal Legal Advisor (OPLA) to provide legal advice to ICE agents and officers. OPLA is the exclusive government representative in immigration courts under the U.S. Department of Justice, Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).
Immigration law is a specialized area of law, so this internship provides a basic introduction. Interns will learn ICE’s mission and the role OPLA plays in accomplishing it.
