Program summary

The wiring harness assembler supports manufacturing operations through the assembly and inspection of wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and related components in accordance with engineering drawings, process instructions, and company quality standards. This position performs semi-routine assembly work using hand tools, measuring devices, and basic electronics testing equipment to produce finished products used in manufacturing applications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality procedures, and the ability to follow standardized work instructions within a production environment.

Roles & job description

We're looking for a Wiring Harness Assembler to join their team! In this role, you will follow process instructions and blueprints to assemble wire/cable components to achieve the final wire and mechanical configuration required on drawings for the production of the company’s products. Work is semi-routine in nature, following established procedures. Eligibility notes

High School Diploma or equivalent.Ability to use dimensional measuring equipment and basic electronic testing equipment.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and process worksheets.Ability to set up and operate assigned machines and equipment.Ability to operate material handling equipment.Ability to effectively communicate with others.Display an understanding of the importance of product quality and compliance to health and safety procedures.

Program duration and training scope may be expanded or condensed based on participant experience, qualifications, and transition timeline. Due to DoW requirements, candidates must be US citizens. Must be able to obtain and maintain DoD Security clearances and approvals
