Manufacturing Engineer & Electronics

The Manufacturing Engineer, Electronics develops, implements, and improves manufacturing methods, process sequences, tooling, work instructions, routers, and production controls used to assemble, integrate, test, repair, and support electronic and electro-mechanical products. This role works closely with Design Engineering, Quality, Operations, Test, and Supply Chain to transition new products into production, resolve manufacturing issues, reduce process variation, and improve cost, quality, and schedule performance. The engineer creates and maintains controlled production documentation, supports process validation and engineering changes, develops technical training, applies lean and continuous improvement methods, and contributes to labor, tooling, and process estimates for proposals, repairs, and new business opportunities.

Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience supporting electronics or electro-mechanical manufacturing, assembly, integration, test, repair, or production engineering is preferred. The role requires the ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, bills of material, specifications, and technical requirements. Experience creating work instructions, routers, standard procedures, tooling concepts, and process documentation is strongly desired. Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, ERP, MES, or PLM systems is preferred. Strong written communication, technical problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and project organization skills are required.
