Lead Embedded Software Engineer
The Lead Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for the architecture, design, development, testing, integration, and lifecycle support of embedded software systems. This role provides technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with hardware, systems, and cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality embedded solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable industry standards and software development processes.

Bachelor’s degree in computer, Software or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)Minimum of four years’ experience in Embedded Software developmentExperience leading software development projects preferredProficiency with software development in ANSI C, and scripting languages such as PythonExperience of software development under Linux and RTOS systems (e.g VxWorks)Familiarity with regulatory frameworks for software development (e.g. DO178C, MISRA C/C++)Familiarity with Hardware/Software integration and use of lab equipment (Oscilloscopes, DMMs, Power supplies, etc.)Ability to read and understand hardware schematics and component datasheetsBSPs and device driver development under Linux and VxWorks preferredFamiliarity with Software Cybersecurity tools preferred
