Civil Site Contractors - Job Training Program

Assist in installing Underground Utilities for large-scale civil construction sites.

General Duties Follow the direction of the site supervisor. Communicate Effectively Keep job sites clean and orderly. Must be able to twist, bend, and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis. Able to work a 10-hour shift on your feet. Able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures indoors & outdoors. Perform manual labor tasks, use hand tools and small pieces ofequipment (mini excavators, skid steers, lulls or forklifts). Assist operator in repair, maintenance, and fueling of heavy equipment. Must agree to abide by and participate in all Contour Safety programsand procedures to ensure a safe work environment.Personal AttributesMust demonstrate the following personal attributes: be honest and trustworthy, be respectful. able to communicate effectively. possess cultural awareness and sensitivity. be flexible. demonstrate sound work ethics. deal with the public in a positive, courteous and respectful mannerExpectations: Approach each day alert and eager to accomplish all learning and tasksthoroughly. Able to work both independently and as part of a team providingrecycling assistance. Maintain professionalism. Reliable transportation is required. All duties to be performed in a timely and efficient manner.
