Clutch - On the Job Training
This 12-week DoD SkillBridge program provides a transitioning service member with immersive, structured training in project management. Under the mentorship of a Program Manager or Program Director, participants will support both internal and client-facing projects, developing skills in project planning, stakeholder communication, resource coordination, and data analysis. Training will involve hands-on work with enterprise tools such as SharePoint, Office 365, Power BI, PowerQuery, and AI applications with opportunities to pursue online certifications alongside on-the-job training (OJT).
As a Project Manager, Associate SkillBridge Intern, you will assist in drafting project scopes, managing tasks, preparing status reports, tracking project KPIs, and supporting stakeholder engagement efforts. You will learn to use tools like SharePoint, Jira, PowerQuery, and Power BI to coordinate project activities, analyze data, and monitor project health. This role develops foundational skills in issue/risk management, budgeting basics, and project closeout processes, preparing you for an entry-level to mid-level civilian project management role.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field is a plus; familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 tools; certifications such as PMP, CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management) or CompTIA Project+ are advantageous but not required.
