Clarios Manufacturing & Logistics Fellowship. Clarios, the global leader in advanced energy storage solutions, offers a 9–12 week DoD SkillBridge Fellowship at our Toledo, OH facility. This program provides transitioning service members with structured, hands-on training in manufacturing operations, equipment maintenance, logistics, and frontline leadership, with mentorship and exposure to senior leadership. Fellows will complete OSHA 10 certification, participate in Lean/Continuous Improvement projects, and gain insight into career opportunities at Clarios after transition.
Clarios Manufacturing & Logistics FellowshipThe Clarios Manufacturing & Logistics Fellowship is a training program for transitioning service members preparing for careers in manufacturing, supply chain, maintenance, or operations leadership. Fellows rotate through key areas of the Toledo plant and distribution center, supported by mentors and supervisors.Training Areas Include:Safety & Orientation – OSHA 10 certification, PPE, Lockout/Tagout, Blood Lead awareness.Manufacturing Operations – exposure to battery production processes, quality checkpoints, and workflow management.Equipment Maintenance – shadow technicians in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and Maximo system training.Logistics & Distribution – warehouse operations, ERP inventory systems, shipping/receiving, and cycle counting.Quality Systems – layered audits, containment events, and root cause analysis.Leadership Development – supervisor shadowing, performance management basics, and exposure to union/peer review processes.Corporate HQ Leadership Immersion (Milwaukee, WI) – briefings with senior leaders across operations, engineering, HR, finance, and commercial functions; engagement with the Clarios Veterans BRG.Credentials & Outcomes:OSHA 10 General Industry Safety Card.Forklift/Powered Industrial Truck Certification (if applicable).Participation in Continuous Improvement/Lean projects.Clarios Fellowship Certificate of Completion.Optional: Insights Discovery training and Kepner-Tregoe Problem Solving & Decision Making certification (when offered).Post-Fellowship Career Paths (conversion opportunities):Maintenance Technician (Electrical/Mechanical).Materials Handler / Distribution Associate. Production Supervisor (for SNCOs/officers).Quality Technician. Eligibility: Must be within 180 days of separation, command-approved for SkillBridge, and able to participate full-time (40 hours/week) in-person at the Toledo, OH facility.
