The DoD Skillbridge Management Assistant (Fleet Services) intern position at the City of Tucson will train to learn to supervise staff and support daily administrative operations, while learning how to implement management functions and activities within the General Services Department.
This classification may include any of the listed duties, knowledge, skills, or other characteristics. Work assignments may vary depending on department needs.• Supervises and oversees the daily work of employees and coordinates personnel-related activities to include, but not limited to: training, approving work schedules, recommending and approving personnel actions, coaching and counseling, establishing performance goals, and writing performance evaluations.• Conducts research and makes recommendations to management.• Coordinates meetings and prepares presentations.• Prepares written materials including, memos, correspondence, reports, instructions, and procedures.• Performs research and studies.• Maintains spreadsheets and databases.• Performs all other duties and tasks as assigned
