The City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal Fire Departments SkillBridge program currently provides training to prepare individuals for a job as a Firefighter/EMT.The City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal Fire Department is dedicated to serving the community with outstanding customer service and timely emergency response services including fire suppression, Advance Life Support Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and hazardous materials.This is a great opportunity to get valuable training and experience for those wishing to pursue a career in Fire Services.
Under frequent supervision, the firefighter recruit will perform fire suppression and emergency medical treatment activities on an assigned shift, providing proper and prompt response to emergency situations to protect the lives and property of those in need of assistance. Maintains records and prepares reports as required. Reports to the Lieutenant.
