Chem-Air, LLC is a family-owned and oriented business operated in Shreveport, LA since 1972. We pride ourselves in being the premier industrial aerial services operator in the Gulf states specializing in aerial pesticide application on forestry, agriculture, and industrial rights of way markets. Additionally, we are consistently growing our market share of LiDAR imaging for forest production analysis and measurement. We value Service members' time and dedication to serving our country and we recognize that no two Service members are the same and each leaves the Service with different skillsets at different levels. The primary focus of our veteran recruitment program is to find Service members who possess strong leadership and/or mechanical skills to be Mechanics, Service Technicians, Crew Chiefs, or Ground Support Personnel by joining a rewarding, welcoming family for long-term career success.

Roles & job description

-Mechanic: perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and inspections on aircraft. Return AOG aircraft to flight status in a safe and timely manner by performing repairs at base or in the field. -Service Technician: perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and inspection on ground equipment. Return OOS equipment to In-Service status in a safe and timely manner by performing repairs at base or in the field. -Crew Chief: Organize daily operations for the spray crew including daily 'spray runs', chemical organization and inventory, logistics planning, problem solving, and customer coordination. Ground Support Personnel: Operate Batch Truck by locating and navigating to spray operation areas, batching chemical prescriptions according to work orders, load helicopter and provide support to pilot for various needs.
