Equipment and Mechanical Equipment Repairs
Military Experience: Active service members transitioning through the SkillBridge Program.Interest in HVAC: Strong desire to build a career in the HVAC industry, with a willingness to learn.Technical Aptitude: Basic mechanical skills and the ability to use tools effectively.Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions.Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others.Attention to Detail: Commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks.
Key Responsibilities:Technical Training: Participate in on-the-job training under the supervision of experienced HVAC technicians.Equipment Installation: Learn and assist in the installation of HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, and ventilation systems.System Maintenance and Repair: Support preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and industry regulations during training and job tasks.Customer Interaction: Shadow technicians to develop customer service skills and learn effective communication techniques.Documentation: Assist with completing service reports and maintaining accurate records of work performed.At Mitchell Heating, we are more than just an HVAC company—we are a family.
