HR Workforce Development Coordinator. The HR Workforce Development Coordinator supports the Company's recruiting, onboarding, employee training, workforce development, and HR compliance programs. This position helps ensure employees maintain required licenses, certifications, and qualifications while coordinating training, apprenticeship programs, and workforce development initiatives that support maritime operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate employee onboarding and orientation.Assist with recruiting, applicant tracking, and pre-employment processing.Maintain employee training records and coordinate internal/external training.Administer the Company's Registered Apprenticeship Program, including OJT tracking and regulatory reporting.Track employee credentials and certifications (MMC, TWIC, Medical Certificates, STCW, Drug & Alcohol compliance, and other required qualifications).Coordinate required USCG and company training to maintain compliance.Maintain HR records and generate workforce reports using BambooHR and other HR systems.Support employee performance evaluations and development planning.Assist with workforce planning, succession planning, and employee development initiatives.
