Assessment Consultant
The objective of our program is to ensure participants are trained and equipped with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to monitor, detect, and respond to cybersecurity events, perform threat hunting and incident triage activities, analyze security logs and alerts, utilize SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and XDR technologies, conduct basic network forensics and malware analysis, perform threat intelligence research, communicate cybersecurity incidents to technical and non-technical audiences, and support continuous improvement of SOC processes, workflows, and security operations capabilities.
As a Tier 1 SOC Analyst, you will support Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) operations by monitoring security alerts, investigating suspicious activity, conducting threat analysis, and supporting cybersecurity incident response activities. You will serve as the first line of defense for client environments, utilizing SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and threat intelligence platforms to identify, triage, and escalate potential security incidents. This role reports to the SOC Manager and works closely with senior analysts, incident responders, threat hunters, and engineering teams.
