The BTS team is looking for a passionate entry level skill bridge candidates who enjoy learning new skills, works well with a team, grasps concepts and processes, has a passion for individual development and is willing to dive into problems that impact a program’s success. In this role, successful candidates will be responsible for partner coordination on varies topics related to program management (finance, contracting, HR, recruiting, training, and personnel placement. The Assistant Program Manager internship will assist in addressing issues at the tactical, operational, and strategic level to ensure success of the program, satisfaction of clients and partners, and to meet the goals of the program outlined by the statements of work and contract. The ultimate goal is to prepare transitioning military personnel for a Defense Contracting billable positions on one of the various funded contracts that supports Intelligence/cyber operations worldwide.
Our BTS Defense Contracting Internship in Assistant Program Management is an entry level role that is critical to growing our company and workforce while grasping an understanding of contracting operations in preparation for starting in a contract billable position. The position aligns with our Program Management Operations (PMO) Teams to enable the SkillBridge individual to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities, to grow an understanding of the Assistant Program Manager role on a defense contract. The candidate will learn from BTS Subject Matter Experts across functional areas to grasp operational knowledge of Defense Contract management.

Individuals with 6 years+ operational experience with no degree, Individuals with 4 years+ operational experience with an associate degree, and Individuals with 2 years+ operational experience with a bachelor's degree. Technical degrees/military training and DOD 8570 certifications are a plus. We will review pre-pub'd resumes of all candidates pursuing skillbridge opportunities with BTS to determine if the candidate is a good fit and we have the potential to employ the candidate upon transition.
We are open to providing SkillBridge opportunities for military intelligence and cyber professionals at any location remotely so they can learn about defense contracting and prepare for future employment. We have a flexible training plan that can be altered to meet the needs/desires of the individual.
