Broward JROTC District Office
Separating service members and current veterans are eligible to do SkillBridge with the Broward County JROTC Program. Eligible service members and veterans may be eligible to fill a vacant JROTC Teaching position if they meet all of the service and district requirements.
Serve as a JROTC Instructor for grades 9-12 at one of Broward County public high school's 31 JROTC Programs. The SkillBridge applicant will work closely with a certified JROTC Instructor to gain knowledge, skills, and abilities of a JROTC Instructor. The applicant will learn the basics of JROTC, Teaching Strategies, Classroom Management, Citizenship and Leadership Development.
Alls MOCs of all services are welcomed.
All service members must be approved by their respective service and will undergo a background check by the school district and a CNACI check with the military service.
The actual location of the SkillBridge will depend upon the actual vacancy at the time of the their application.
