AlohaHP’s Talent Acquisition Specialist SkillBridge opportunity provides transitioning service members with structured, hands-on training in recruiting, workforce coordination, staffing operations, and client support within a fast-paced workforce solutions environment.Participants will develop transferable civilian skills in candidate sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, workforce communication, scheduling coordination, customer service, and operational support while supporting hospitality, healthcare, construction, food service, and light industrial workforce initiatives across Hawaii and California.The program begins with onboarding and training in Hawaii and may include exposure to workforce operations and recruiting initiatives supporting both Hawaii and California markets. Depending on business needs, participant performance, and available opportunities, remote or relocation opportunities may be available following successful program completion.This opportunity is designed to help transitioning service members strengthen professional communication, operational coordination, leadership, problem-solving, and business operations skills that support successful transition into civilian workforce careers.
Participants will receive structured training and practical experience in:Candidate sourcing and recruiting supportResume review and candidate screeningConducting candidate outreach and phone interviewsScheduling interviews, onboarding activities, and workforce assignmentsSupporting employee onboarding and documentation processesWorkforce scheduling coordination and shift confirmationsApplicant Tracking System (ATS), CRM, and workforce software usageProfessional communication with candidates, employees, and clientsRecruiting pipeline tracking and reportingStaffing operations and workforce coordinationCustomer service and relationship managementProcess documentation and operational workflow supportCollaboration with recruiting, operations, and leadership teamsExposure to workforce analytics, reporting, and staffing operations processesParticipants may support workforce initiatives across multiple geographic markets, including Hawaii and California, while developing transferable skills in recruiting, workforce operations, communication, and business administration.Throughout the program, participants will receive mentorship, coaching, and exposure to civilian business operations designed to support long-term career development and successful military-to-civilian transition.
