We are looking to add a detail-oriented Skillbridge or Hiring our Heroes Intern for our Accounting Team in San Antonio, Texas to effectively support and learn from the Accounting department within Black Rifle Coffee. This intern will gain hands on experience on the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, including recording journal entries, completing reconciliations and compiling information as well as a variety of other accounting duties.This Skillbridge internship is onsite at our San Antonio office, with an opportunity for full time employment and the end of this internship.
-Support the accounting team as needed-Learn how to perform daily and monthly cash receipts reconciliations-Assist with Journal entries as part of the month-end close process-Researching, tracking, and resolving accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies-Learning how to update data such as invoices, checks received, deposits, account statements, reports, and other records to NetSuite Online.-Gain exposure to the periodic GAAP financial statements: balance sheet, statement of comprehensive income, statement of stockholder’s equity, and statement of cash flows-Schedules and support for the company’s external quarter review and audit procedures-Research technical accounting matters and applying them to the business-Assist with special projects as needed
-Associate or higher degree in accounting or relevant work experience preferred-Strong mathematical and analytical skills-Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously-Working knowledge of basic accounting procedures-Experience with Netsuite ERP System or Other ERP general ledger software preferred but not required-Expert in Microsoft Applications (Excel)
