Black Cape, Inc. - Internship Program
Black Cape is seeking technologists who are actively using their software development skills and/or have a computer science background. We are a Veteran-Owned Small Business with expertise in developing Mission Applications and applying Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to hard problems in the Government and Commercial Sectors. Black Cape offers customized Internships designed to support the lifecycle of technology projects from inception to development, to leadership, to customer-interfacing, to transition. We are seeking candidates with a completed Bachelor of Science degree or candidates who are close to completion of a BS degree and/or a coding Bootcamp. A completed Associates degree may also be considered. Technical degrees are preferred (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Information Systems, etc.). We know this is a Skillbridge internship program that bridges the gap from your military training to practical application in the civilian technical world, but we have found that candidates with three to six months (or more) of technical experience usually thrive best in our program. This could come in the form of military experience using Software Development, DevOps, Cloud Computing, or other related skills. We are a company that prides itself on IMPACTFUL work for the Federal government, but we also have a Fun work culture centered around Team bonding and Team Building, serving the professional development of our teammates – and the greater good! We offer hybrid work opportunities from our headquarters office in Arlington, VA. We cannot offer fully remote internships at this time. We look forward to hearing from you and hopefully shepherding you through our interview process!
