Account Manager
General and operations managers, analogous to program/account managers, plan, direct, or coordinate operations across organizations.
They formulate policies, manage daily operations, and plan the use of materials and human resources, often overseeing multiple departments while coordinating through subordinate supervisors.
Minimum QualificationsEducation:- Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field required.- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.- Relevant professional experience may supplement educational requirements where applicable.Experience:- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, sales support, account coordination, or business development preferred.- Experience managing client relationships in a professional environment.Skills and Competencies:- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Ability to build and maintain professional client relationships.- Organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.- Problem-solving and conflict resolution ability.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.- Basic knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho).- Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.Essential Job Functions:- Serve as primary point of contact for assigned employer and partner accounts.- Maintain ongoing client communication to ensure satisfaction and retention.- Track account activity and maintain accurate documentation in CRM systems.- Coordinate internally to ensure timely and quality service delivery.- Support onboarding of new employer accounts.- Assist in monitoring performance metrics and preparing reports.- Identify opportunities for account growth and service expansion.Work Environment:- Office, hybrid, or remote setting.- Prolonged periods of computer work and participation in virtual and in-person meetings.
