Project Manager
The service member will serve as a Project Manager, and lead from scheduling, availability of personnel and priorities for shipboard work, shop production work, input for budget, and technical document preparation to ensure that the jobs are worked in the order of priorities that best serve project completion in a timely manner.
Provide a day-to-day technical execution and leadership as a subject matter expert. Help with establishing feasible planning and execution of products including schedules, time lines, and a liaison between the company and the customer. Delegate work effectively to ensure that the projects get completed in a timely manner and to monitor the progress. Establish daily work priorities to ensure jobs are worked in the order to complete on-time scheduling by determining long and short range needs for resources such as manpower, materials, equipment needs and support. Conduct meetings and briefings to ensure the flow of information regarding production schedule and cost effectiveness.Accountable for success and downfall of projects by ensuring that everything moves forward and smoothly and gets completed on time while meeting quality standards and budget constraints. Provide team direction ensuring the efforts stays aligned to broader project objectives.
