IO/Cognitive Warfare and PSYOP Subject Matter Expert
As an IO/Cognitive Warfare and PSYOP Subject Matter Expert, you will bring operational judgment to AI systems built for information operations planning. You will work with research scientists and engineers developing agentic AI for doctrinal grounding, forecasting, wargaming, and assessment, and you will make sure what we build reflects how IO planners actually work. Your experience will shape the scenarios we simulate, the products the system produces, and how results are presented to operators and decision makers.
Key Responsibilities - Translate operational IO and PSYOP practice into requirements for AI-enabled planning tools - Provide operational perspective for use-case and scenario development - Review system outputs, such as playbooks and courses of action, for doctrinal soundness and operational realism - Help curate the templates, and reference material used to ground the system - Support user testing and evaluation with operational IO users - Support transition and stakeholder engagement with government sponsors and transition partners - Contribute to reports, briefings, and demonstrations Requirements- 5+ years of IO/Cognitive Warfare experience at the component and joint levels; PSYOP experience highly desired - Hold at least a bachelor's degree; master's preferred - Experience using AI in operational settings, highly preferred - Possess excellent writing, research, and communication skills - Willingness to travel when necessary - Eligibility for a U.S. Security Clearance is required
