You will develop and optimize advanced game development and game engine technologies that drive real-time simulation, immersive training, and critical mission planning capabilities. This role requires a blend of deep technical expertise and creative problem-solving skills as you contribute to national defense initiatives while pushing the boundaries of mixed reality.
WHAT YOU WILL DOWork with one of the industries strongest mixed reality teams to change the landscape for MR on the frontlines and beyondDrive prototyping initiatives to experiment with revolutionary mixed reality concepts that set new industry standardsDesign, development, and enhance game engine components tailored for mixed reality applicationsOptimize rendering pipelines, physics simulations, and real-time interactions to deliver high-performance immersive experiencesCollaborate with AR/VR specialists to integrate mixed reality sensors, displays, and spatial mapping capabilitiesImplement robust pipelines that transform raw sensor data into actionable, immersive visuals for the warfighterPartner with product managers, hardware engineers, and warfighter subject matter experts to translate mission requirements into practical, scalable solutionsEvaluate and integrate emerging technologies and frameworks within the game engine ecosystemREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSProficiency in C++ and familiarity with graphics APIs (DirectX, OpenGL, or Vulkan)Experience working in large codebases to solve complex problems in a matter of days and weeks, not monthsExcellent communication skills and ability to work cross functionally with stakeholders and Executive leadersMust be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export controlled information or facilitiesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience developing on console platforms, computer graphics, or real-time simulationExperience with shader programming and multi-threaded rendering pipelinesUnderstanding of immersive technologies and sensor integration is a plusDemonstrated experience or strong interest in developing mixed reality or simulation applications
Service member must be within 180 days of separating from Service.Available year round as Service members continuously separate from Active Duty.
