Alvest Equipment Services (AES) is seeking transitioning service members interested in developing operational leadership, compliance, quality management, and workforce development expertise within the aviation industry. As a Global Operations Manager SkillBridge participant, you will gain hands-on experience supporting Boeing Dreamlifter Operations while working alongside experienced leaders responsible for operational excellence across multiple domestic and international locations.Participants will gain exposure to strategic operations management, Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), workforce development, training governance, operational audits, customer relationship management and continuous improvement initiatives. This opportunity provides a unique pathway for military leaders to transition their operational, logistics, maintenance and leadership experience into a civilian management role supporting one of the world's most specialized aviation cargo operations.The program is designed to prepare participants for leadership positions by developing the technical, operational, and business skills necessary to manage complex aviation operations while supporting regulatory compliance, customer requirements and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:• Support operational oversight and standardization initiatives across Boeing Dreamlifter Operations locations. • Collaborate with station leadership to evaluate operational performance, workforce readiness and compliance with customer requirements. • Assist with the development and implementation of operational procedures, training standards and best practices. • Participate in Quality Management System (QMS) and Safety Management System (SMS) initiatives. • Conduct operational audits and assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory, customer and company requirements. • Support workforce development initiatives, competency management programs and leadership development efforts. • Assist in analyzing operational data, performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement. • Collaborate with maintenance, operations, safety, and training teams to support operational excellence and consistency across locations. • Participate in customer meetings, operational reviews and stakeholder communications. • Support the development and implementation of corrective action plans and process improvement initiatives. • Travel to operational locations as needed to support audits, assessments, training initiatives and operational alignment. • Maintain compliance with all applicable regulatory, safety, quality and customer requirements. • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

• Must be eligible to participate in the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge Program.• Must be within 180 days of military separation or retirement.• Bachelor's degree or equivalent military leadership experience preferred.• Previous military experience in operations, logistics, aviation, maintenance, transportation, workforce management or leadership roles preferred.• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, customers and stakeholders.• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn operational management systems.• Valid driver's license required.• Must successfully complete Boeing security screening and any applicable airport or customer badging requirements.
Alvest Equipment Services (AES) is a global provider of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) maintenance, fleet management, rental, leasing and operational support services. This SkillBridge opportunity provides transitioning service members with direct exposure to operational leadership, quality management, safety management, workforce development and continuous improvement initiatives supporting Boeing Dreamlifter Operations.Participants will work alongside experienced operational leaders and subject matter experts while developing the strategic, technical and leadership skills necessary to support complex aviation operations. Successful completion of the program may provide participants with consideration for future leadership opportunities based on business needs, performance and position availability.
