Allegiant Giving
The AllegiantVETS Project Management SkillBridge Program prepares active-duty service members and military spouses to transition into high-demand civilian project management roles. This program blends daily live-led training, industry-recognized coursework, and hands-on practical learning to help participants translate their military leadership, planning, and operational experience into professional project management skills. Throughout the program, participants learn how to organize and execute projects, coordinate teams, manage timelines, communicate with stakeholders, and support business objectives across a wide range of industries.AllegiantVETS provides a fully virtual environment that includes professional development, résumé support, interview coaching, and direct job-matching through AV Connect and our national employer network. Participants continue to receive full military compensation during the program with command approval. This track equips service members with the competencies, confidence, and tools needed to begin a successful post-military career in project management or a closely related operational role.
Participants in the Project Management SkillBridge track will train for roles that support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects within an organization. Throughout the program, service members learn how to translate project goals into structured plans, develop schedules and timelines, and support teams in completing key milestones. They will gain experience documenting project requirements, managing tasks, communicating progress, and identifying potential risks or roadblocks that may impact deadlines.This training prepares participants to work closely with cross-functional teams, assist project leads with day-to-day coordination, and help ensure projects stay on track and aligned with organizational objectives. Participants will also become familiar with widely used project management tools and techniques, including Agile practices, workflow management systems, and digital task-tracking platforms. By the end of the program, they will be capable of stepping into a civilian role where they support or lead projects, improve processes, maintain documentation, and contribute to the successful delivery of operational initiatives across many industries.
