Air Solutions Heating & Cooling is offering a DoW SkillBridge opportunity for transitioning Service Members interested in developing hands-on skills in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. This program provides structured, on-the-job training in residential and light commercial HVAC maintenance, installation support, and system diagnostics. Participants will work alongside experienced technicians and supervisors to learn preventative maintenance procedures, basic troubleshooting techniques, and customer service best practices. The training emphasizes safety, technical skill development, and real-world field experience to prepare participants for entry-level employment in the HVAC industry. This opportunity is ideal for Service Members with strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and leadership experience who are seeking a career in a high-demand skilled trade. Key Responsibilities: Assist experienced technicians with preventive maintenance and seasonal tune-ups. Support installation and repair of heating and cooling systems. Learn to troubleshoot HVAC system issues using standard diagnostic tools. Follow safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations. Record and document service and maintenance activities. Participate in mentorship and on-the-job training sessions. Learning Outcomes: Hands-on experience with residential HVAC systems. Understanding of heating, cooling, and ventilation principles. Exposure to EPA 608 certification and other industry standards. Development of teamwork, problem-solving, and professional communication skills. Knowledge of field safety procedures and service documentation. Qualifications: Active-duty Service Member eligible for SkillBridge. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
