Roles & job description

The Surgical Equipment Repair Technician, Instrumentation is a non-technical degree role which:• Utilizes both technical and mechanical skills for the precision repairs of surgical medical instruments.• Inspects, evaluates, and tests incoming equipment to determine serviceability and repair requirements.•Disassembles malfunctioning equipment and removes, repairs, or replaces defective parts and completes all associated documentation and communication in a timely manner.• Works under the observation and guidance of a qualified Surgical Equipment Repair Technician or Supervisor.
