Program summary

The Medical Equipment Technician (MET) is a non-technical degree role. Provides maintenance of equipment to assure it is functioning properly and meets customers' needs. Performs operational verification and documentation and communication in a timely manner. Works under the guidance of a qualified Biomedical Equipment Technician or Technical Supervisor.

The MET program provides a training opportunity to assist in the maintenance of equipment to assure it is functioning properly. The MET will perform operational verification, preventive maintenance and repair of equipment. The MET is committed and dedicated to serving in the healthcare field.

Target military occupations

Open to all MOS / ratings / AFSCs.
