HSI SkillBridge Financial Advisor Program
HSI Wealth Strategies is a veteran-led, Denver-based Registered Investment Advisory firm specializing in financial planning for airline pilots and their families. Our 90-day SkillBridge program embeds transitioning service members within our advisory team to develop the financial planning skills, client relationship competencies, and industry knowledge needed to launch a meaningful second career serving the aviation community. Strong hire intent exists for participants who successfully complete the program.
The Financial Advisor (Service Advisor Track) is responsible for delivering exceptional client service, supporting the comprehensive financial planning process, and building long-term relationships with airline pilot and military aviator clients. SkillBridge participants develop proficiency in financial planning fundamentals, RIA technology platforms, and aviation-specific financial topics including airline pilot compensation structures, defined benefit pension analysis, military retirement systems, and the military-to-airline career transition. Program duration is 90 days; may be tailored to the participant's command-approved SkillBridge window (minimum recommended 60 days; exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis). Strong hire intent exists for participants who successfully complete the program.
HSI Wealth Strategies' leadership team is composed entirely of veterans, including a USAFA graduate and CFP serving as CEO, an Air Force Reserve Lieutenant Colonel and former C-17 pilot serving as COO, a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel and active United Airlines pilot serving as Senior Advisor, as well as an Air Force Academy graduate and Naval Academy graduate both serving as Service Advisors and day-to-day mentors. Our firm has prior SkillBridge experience through a previous broker-dealer affiliation and is committed to building a repeatable, high-quality transition pathway for separating service members into the financial planning profession.
