Housing Management Specialist (1173)
The 11 CES housing management specialist helps individuals and families find and secure suitable housing, often working with vulnerable populations. Provide resources, and coordinate with various agencies to ensure clients find and maintain stable housing. Key responsibilities include assisting with applications, negotiating leases, and providing education on housing rights, resources and will support the Housing Flight by assisting in their respective Housing office, housing specialist will conduct inspection for Change of Occupancy Maintenance (COM), provide customer service to assist in the assignment, and terminations, manages the off-base housing referral program through locally established policies and procedures and liaison with civil authorities and property owners/agents. Enroll the service members into the Rental Partnership Program (RPP) and inspect single home for input into the Homes.mil database for single home listing. Focuses on managing or assisting in the management of housing projects, facilities management of 41 (GFOQ) General Flag Officer Quarters for reporting of cost report, assignments/terminations and data input for the six year plans. Represent the organization in installation and/or various conferences and meetings with local officials and other federal , state, or legal organizations concerning current housing program, practices and trends. Advises Element and Flight chief on all aspects of the housing programs.
Must be able to obtain Secret Security Clearance once hired.
